At Laie Elamentary each month a coupple of kids per class get chosen to be Super Citizen. They are give this honor :-)if they have shown excellence not only academically but mostly for going out of their way to be helpful and good. In other words for 'Good Citizenship". It is a big deal around here. They have a school assembly and some parents, aunts and uncles stay up late at night making millions of candy leis for their little heroes. Claudia was Super Citizen in September and Mateo was for October. I tell you what! I am getting better at making candy leis. Hooray for my Super Citizens!
